Here at Burton Grange Equestrian we are proud to offer regular visits with some of the best industry professionals Yorkshire has to offer. We can personally and highly recommend each one of the businesses named below, having used their services for a number of years and hold regular clinics with them throughout each year. They play an integral part in helping us keep our horses in tip top condition all year round. Of course, our liveries are more than welcome to use whichever professional they prefer, but for ease & convenience they are able to take advantage of the fantastic services these professionals offer.
Rachel Thornton is a qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist offering equine & canine physiotherapy and rehabilitation. With 6 monthly visits scheduled she is also available for adhoc appointments as & when needed.
Dale Harland of the renowned Harland family of farriers makes bi-weekly visits here shoeing a number of horses at Burton Grange. Specialising in remedial shoeing, Dale is able to offer help and support with the most complicated conditions.
Matt Walker has been attending our yard for many years and shoes a number of horses here. He provides an excellent, professional, reliable service resulting in consistently happy customers.
Paul Waudby is an extremely talented BEVA qualified Equine Dental Technician. He has a mass of knowledge and takes the utmost care and patience with each & every horse. Specialising in nervous horses and with a keen interest in equine behaviour, he never requires the need to sedate your horse. Paul visits us twice a year.
Tim Jarman is a McTimoney Animal Practitioner providing a therapeutic and natural technique for a variety of musculoskeletal problems in animals. Tim is able to offer treatments in joint mobilisation, soft tissue manipulation, stretching exercises, advise on future rehabilitation programs and every day management issues. With 6 monthly visits scheduled he is also available for adhoc appointments.
Bishopton Equine is our Veterinary Practice of choice. Based in Ripon, they are just a short drive away and provide an exceptional 5* service, second to none. They are a 100% equine veterinary practice with a fabulous team of dedicated equine vets working to offer the highest standard of veterinary care to horses, ponies and donkeys in North and West Yorkshire.
Jan Brown BHSII who is based at YRC & trained under Chris Bartle & Jane Bartle-Wilson gives bi-weekly lessons in both our indoor arena and outdoor grass jumping paddock. She has competed BD, BS & BE as well as being a registered ride judge for C.H.A.P.S UK at county level. Jan 0ffers freelance tuition across all levels of riders from beginners to advanced, young horses or nervous riders, and covers everything from dressage schooling to gymnastic jumping and XC clinics.
