Retirement Livery
Our retirement livery provides a natural, peaceful and fulfilling environment for our oldies. Our set up resembles the equicentral style of living in that we allow our retirees to live in a herd environment with permanent access to their grazing and large communal barn. Meaning, they can please themselves and wander between their field and barn at their leisure. We have 2 retirement barns and can take up to 18 horses between them.
During the winter months our barns are bedded down with our home produced wheat straw and we provide our own, quality adlib hay & haylage using tombstone feeders. During summer we empty the barns, and our horses are free to graze their well maintained large pasture, whilst also retaining access to their barn should they wish.
With regular photos & updates, we aim to provide peace of mind to owners, knowing their old friend is looked after & cared for to the best of our ability. Please note our retirement liveries are all of advanced age so we do not take on turned away/ recuperating younger equines.
